I have to downgrade for a few driver reasons. I liked the boot and log-in screen. :) I also liked the network manager, computer janitor, and notification warnings. Is there a way to get most of that back including the new GNOME?

Sure, if you are willing to compile a lot of stuff.

Sure, anything is possible. I wouldn't ever try to though, it'd be way more trouble than it's worth. What were your issues with 9.04?
