Ok, so I have to admit, of all the "page cannot be found" errors I've seen in my time, this one is the funniest:

That was a quite fun 404 error. It gave me some ideas about how I could improve my current 404.

I would imagine because that's the file he was trying to access when he got the 404 error.

Strong bad emails 100 (http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail100.html) and 200 (http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail200.html) both had great 404 messages, too. [homestarrunner.com]

Why did it have an mp3 extension?

I was originally looking manually to see if there were any other MP3s of interest to me there. There are only 12, actually. When I typed "13" that's when I got that 404 error and decided to share it with everyone.

The site itself is one of two which host a number of odd quips read using British Telecom's Text-To-Speech system with the voice of Tom Baker, best known for his portrayal of the Forth Doctor in Doctor Who.

If you're interested, http://tombakersays.com/sounds/mc1.mp3 - /mc12.mp3 are valid MP3 files, however, I need to issue the following obligatory warning:

Ahh, Homestar. The only part of my 6th grade year that I remember. To this day I quote that stuff.

For those into Homestar Runner, check out www.telltalegames.com they made some really cool games with the characters. It's the same people who did Sam and Max so it's an adventure game and it's bloody brilliant.
