Just upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04. Upgrade went fine except that my previous display resolution wasn't available. I'm using 8 year old Dell 17" CRT monitor I had set to 12xxX960 when I was using 8.10 Ubuntu So I set my display to 1024x768 to retain the 4:3 ratio, but this proved to be too large. Also, While doing this, I was prompted to enable something called virtual display. Now the highest resolution I have available to choose is 1024x768. I would like to go back, therefore unsetting this virtual display, I assume.
