Hi,
Some background, I originally had a problem after upgrading to Jaunty which is detailed here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1135033). There is also a bug report filed at launchpad here (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/343268) which I added my problem to. I cannot load ubuntu from either 2.6.28-11 or 2.6.27-11 but I can load from kernel 2.6.24-22.
Anyway as there seems to be no movement on this I decided that it would be a good idea to back up my home folder and do a clean install from a live cd.
I can't run anything from the live cd (I have tried three different ones: all checked with md5sum and burned at low speeds). I can boot into it. I get the main menu, but whatever option I try I just end up in a black screen with a blinking cursor in the top left corner.
Getting a little bit worried...:confused:
