hi all!
i'm italian (so sorry for my english) and i'm currently in London. I'ld like to buy a notebook fully compatible with the new ubuntu.
can anyone pls suggest me one? This is what i need:

Price: about 400 or less
fully compatible with ubuntu
in particular wi-fi HAVE to work
with windows preinstalled (i could need it)
Good enough to be able to run videogames, at least the latest graphics adventures.

I would suggest that you buy acer aspire one for 199.
does the job, works brilliantly with ubuntu :-)

I use an MSI wind. With 9.04, wi-fi works out of the box. My MSI has the updated bios which allows me to overclock from stock to +24% ghz .... ok for games... although I had to flash the BIOS to get this.

The Dell mini 12 looks nice and comfortable for touch-typing... however will cost more than your budget.

I suggest you try tthe keyboard, trackpad and the screensize with a couple of websites. Get the one you're most comfortable with. All other specs would be similar, if not the same.
