What are you guy's view on this AMD chip

http://www.amazon.com/AMD-HD985ZXAGHBOX-Phenom-Quad-Core-2-5GHz/dp/B0016HK79A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1241788563&sr=1-1

Would this be good for running an ESXi server.

It says Quad Core. I assume it has the equivalent of 4 cpus in side of it?

Thanks.

p.s. how can i change the title of a post.

In the 1st case, If you are in the US NewEgg is cheaper. LOTS cheaper.

In the 2nd case, the PhenomIIs are much better...and still cheaper than what Amazon is charging.

125w TDP = Hot and noisy and inefficient.
