How do I move Ubuntu to a new partition?

I have a Dell Insipron laptop with windows vista. I used "wubi" to install Ubuntu onto my computer but it installed it in windows. I require Ubuntu to have its own partition and not be in windows. I have already set up a new partition but i dont know how to move my ubuntu to it. Should I use windows explorer to transfer the ubuntu folder to the new partition or is there a procedure for it?
