I have ubuntu 8.10 in my laptop that is a acer aspire 5310. Before with 8.10(ibex)i have compiz fusion and emarald and working smoothly and fine without any interruption. All desktop effects such as cube, fire, rain, rotation and all other thing work fine without any kind of problem.

when 9.04(junty came i upgrade my 8.10 to juanty. Then i got some problems with graphic performance. most of effects are running very slowly. i saw some forams that many people have this problem.

So can someone explain why is this happening and how to solve it.

thank you
ravinda
