running tweetdeck from terminal

I installed adobe air
(from some reason it's 1.0 and not 1.5 as on adobe's site)
and I am trying to run tweetdeck:

cd /opt/Adobe AIR/Versions/1.0
sudo ./airappinstaller /home/oren/TweetDeck_0_20.air

I see the app, but nothing happened when clicking on the icons at the top.

I don't use a desktop manager (gnome/kde). only awesome window manager.

I have the same problem. It opens but the icons are unresponsive. Cannot enter settings, for example.


Any ideas?
