Obligatory apologies if this has been posted before. A search didn't provide any relevant results.
Seemingly out of the blue, Nautilus stopped displaying properly. I have a 1 week old install of 9.04 with Compiz enabled. In the past two days, the only thing I have installed is Adobe's Flash, in place of swfdecoder. Other than that, nothing has changed that I know of.
With desktop effects enabled, Nautilus looks something like this

Occasionally, even the toolbars disappear and turn to white. Clicking on any part of the window does not display anything, though it appears the clicks are detected, as I get the "busy" cursor if I click on a network drive.
Disabling Compiz fixes the problem.
I am running an onboard Geforce 8300 with the Nvidia restricted drivers v173. (v180 has never worked for me at all, even in Intrepid)
I will be happy to provide any other information you guys need.
Has anyone else had this issue? If not, I guess it's time for a reinstall. Thanks in advance!
