Hi all,

I'm finally getting around to installing Ubuntu 9.04 x64 on my desktop. The desktop has a 750GB HDD, really about 600GB of use. I have Vista x64, and planned to dual boot, so I wanted to first resize the 600GB windows partition to 300GB and leave the rest for various Ubuntu partitions (/home, root, swap, etc).

About a half hour ago, I started the initial partition resizing. It says "Please Wait", has "0%" on the progress bar, and "Resizing partition..." below the progress bar.

Now I'm a little worried that its still at just one percent. Is this the kind of thing that will stay at 0% until it is done, then go all the way to 100%, or should it have some kind of indication in between?

Suggestions?

Thanks!
