update manager and 2.6.30-rc4 kernel

I installed the 2.6.30-rc4 kernel to help with my intel video problem (which it did help greatly) and now the update manager wants to install 2.6.28-12. How can I configure update manager to ignore just the kernel updates?

Hi, you can open up Synaptic Package Manager and search for the package you don't want upgraded and highlight it then select "package" then "lock version"
