Internet access problems when upgrading från 8.10 to 9.04

Hi!

I have recently made an upgrade from Ubuntu 8.10 to 9.04 (32-bit) and now i have problems with my internet connection going up and down with many timeouts, most evident when web surfing and im.

Have checked with the other computers in the network and not having that kind of problems.

I have an internal network card, nvidia driver: forcedeth and also tested with a wireless usb adapter, d-link, Same problem there.

Any of you having the same trouble because i am considering a CLEAN INSTALL of ubuntu 9.04! :(

OT: I made a similar upgrade on my asus eee with XUBUNTU and no problems there!

In trying to resolve the problem further, i tried the guide about configuring the "network" file manually, didn't help.

I even upgraded the a newer network manager.... :(

I seemed at first that i got less timeouts but they still come back...

Anyone?
