Wubi.exe wont start

Hi :).

Recently I was informed of the netbook version of ubuntu, I was pretty excited... I am trying to install it on my Acer aspire one netbook.

But I have a small issue. Whether its in a mounted ISO, extracted, or on my flash drive, I cant run the installer. Wubi.exe WIll Not Start. I've Tried running as admin, with compatibility of windows xp. All the basic fixes... But still no success.

I think my problem may be in the fact that I have windows 7 on the netbook. But I just wanna confirm that, and maybe some of you can help me install ubuntu!

I have the same problem with XP. You can skirt this by booting from the flashdrive. ie...hit f12 before it boots and boot from your flash. Not the ideal fix but it does the job.
