Hi,
I currently have and old server with a 120 GB disc using LVM.
I want to throw away the old hardware and run the server virtually on a newer server using vmware server.
The server only uses 2 GB of space, so I just wanted to create a small virtual disc (4 or 8 GB max) to store the old server.
The problem is that i can't reduce the 120 GB because of the LVM.
Is there a way to remove the LVM without losing data or make it smaller so it fits on a small virtual disk?

ps: I use symantec ghost to copy old servers to new virtual ones
