Just a question, I don't understand enough to make a decision.
However I do know that emacs is include in many linux distribution.
In Ubuntu they prefer to include nano over emacs.

I am just wondering why?

Possibly also popular demand for a simpler editor - emacs can be a bit of a handful for a novice user.

I love Nano - quick, simple and easy to use.

I can the same about emacs, only that emacs can include many extensions.

But many nano is simpler than emacs.
