View Full Version : [ubuntu] Cellphone: LG Vu (CU920)

I can't get Ubuntu (Jaunty - 9.04) to recognize this device as anything other than some sort of "cellular modem." I have the phone set to "Mass-Storage" mode (2GB MicroSD card installed.)

Works just fine on my wife's Vista machine - recognizes the phone as a USB drive and can add/remove all the sounds/pictures/videos from the phone without any drivers.

I tried BitPim for Ubuntu, but it doesn't recognize the device either. If I switch the phone to "Data Sync" mode, BitPim will at least recognize the USB port, but it still can't talk to the device.
