phani-system:/home/phani/Desktop# pon dsl-provider
/usr/sbin/pppd: In file /etc/ppp/peers/dsl-provider: unrecognized option 'eth0'

Sorry, no working ethernet card could be found. If you do have
an interface card which was not autodetected so far, you
probably wish to load the driver manually using the modconf
utility. Run modconf now?

There is a same problem in XP.

I dont know what is the problem with my ethernet, then i tried usb connection
which worked in XP(i could find drivers in XP).
Please any one help me finding the usb drivers in linux.

modem model:UT300R2U MODEM co.:UTSTARCOM

For the most part, there aren't drivers in Linux (with the exception of a few specialty video cards I believe).

Are you having actual problems or are you just concerned that you can't find drivers? If you are having a problem then I suggest you search these forums or, if that fails, post a question here.

Good luck!
