i currently have ubuntu 8.10 installed.

i hate it, i want to install linux mint onto this computer.

it is a netbook and does not have a CD/DVD drive.

I have linux mint iso downloaded, and need assistance modding a usb so i can install it from that.

i dont understand linux great, but i am willing to try.

i really need step by step instructions.

Thanks in advance

Download Unetbootin from the add/remove under applications then use it to download a bootable usb version of Mint.
