upgrading edgy eft and not seeing sources

Hey,

I'm trying to upgrade an older machine to a more current version of ubuntu. The machine currently has Edgy Eft on it which is EOL. None of the sources are responding (probably because it's EOL). Is the best way to upgrade to download a Feisty Fawn CD from somewhere? Also, how do I go about upgrading this machine using a CD?

Hi, because Feisty and Gusty have also reached their eol it would be quicker to backup your important stuff and do a clean install of a later version. I am not sure how successful you would be trying to upgrading to feisty using the alternate cd but if you want to go that way you can get the alternate iso from
http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/feisty/
Then burn it to a disk and insert it into the cdrom and a option to upgrade should pop up.
