I switched from eeebuntu 2.0 standard to ubuntu 9.04 NBR running classic-desktop hoping to smooth out some of the performance issues I was having with eeebuntu. Needless to say it didn't or I wouldn't be posting here.
Performance on my eee is no better than on my Averatec 3700 with 1.8 sempron/512 and an 80G disk.
I have the eee 901 with the 4/8 ssd setup and 1G RAM...
any suggestions for improving performance? Even web browsing is terribly slow..
