I am trying to install Ubuntu 9.04 onto my desktop machine at work, but the installation fails with "Fatal server error: no screens found". Well, it doesn't fail as such, but I am left with a shell prompt labelled 'ubuntu@ubuntu.com', and the installation process does not continue any further.
The machine is an HP xw4600 workstation, with an Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 (2.4 GHz) processor and 4GB of memory. There are 2 NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS graphics cards fitted, with 3 HP l1940T flat-panel monitors attached.
Any idea as to how to resolve this issue?
