i see tons of threads about how to dual boot if you have vista and want to add ubuntu, but what about the other way around, i only have ubuntu jaunty on my dell xps 1330 and wanted to add a dual boot of vista. and is there any ways to just add a very very simple form of vista? i dont really want to even have it except for the gaming issue cause i cant figure out wine at all.

I have XP and Ubuntu on my Acer one.You have to install windows first then format the drive in half or whatever you want, then install Ubuntu. Ubuntu will recognize the windows installation and give you the choice of adding it to the grub menu so that you can choose what to load at startup.
