I prev installed 8.1 server to a old p3 600 and it had a error msg similar to this. i wrote it off as basically maybe some bad sectors, since the computer is REALLY old
The new setup however is having a VERY similar error, but this time i thought to take a picture of it.
the new setup is all new equip and running 2x 500gig sata drives..
i would hope it isn't bad sectors. i could read the picture very well when i downsized it for the forum..so i uploaded it to photobucket: link here (http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk173/sidcypher/IMAG0011.jpg)
it does one or two more blocks like that before continuing as normal, however i didn't want to miss the pic and they all look the same too me.
any help, i would be grateful. since it has been a while for me using linux at all.
with the new setup, the error happens booting the install (LTS 64-bit) cd, and when booting after a install.
on a side note, fake raid blows, reinstalling to use softraid..
