View Full Version : [ubuntu] Change Akregator fontsize in GNOME?

Hi. I'm using Akregator in Ubuntu 9.04, because Liferea presently hammers databases on EXT4, and I'm using a solid state drive.

Everything was fine (I really like Akregator!), but now the font has grown larger. I think it might well have been installing Krusader that did it. (...maybe I should just Kome to the obvious Konclusion and install KDE? :))

Anyone know how to fix this? Synaptic reports that I only have KDE4's qtconfig installed and it doesn't seem to do anything... and the only other lead I've found, Kcontrol, doesn't even appear to exist any more...

ETA: Found this, but until someone can tell me how to revert it, I'm hesitant to try it. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1126122&highlight=change+font+size+qtconfig

ETA2: Agh! This (also on page 1) didn't come up in the search I did. Sorry about that. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1149561

Anyway, I've installed 'system settings' package and it doesn't seem to work... any clues welcome.

Well, updating qtconfig seems to have fixed it, but I'd still like to know how to change this. Font sizes in qtconfig are all greyed out, and though it does let me change them, it doesn't retain them when I quit and reload. Any clues?

B-b-b-bump (etybumpbump)!

D'oh!

Akregator has font size setting in its own menu.

I'm going to go and sit in the cupboard and think about what I've done. :p
