I just got my P11Z a view days ago. Installed Karmic Koala Alpha 4 via USB stick on it and it worked right away. The LCD works with 1600x768 but is horrible slow. Brightness Control does not work at all. I need to do much more testing and configuration on it.

If you want a usable Ubuntu on the P11z stick with Jaunty because you can install a working Poulsbo driver (for the Intel US15 chipset) so you actually have some 2D/3D acceleration - not just Vesa.
That's not available in Karmic.

Also the wireless driver in Jaunty does work opposed to the one that comes with Karmic.
