Hi, initially I insalled Ubuntu but after some time I decided to move to KDE so I added the kubuntu-desktop package.
Now, after I have tried KDE I would like to uninstall the GNOME desktop to free space but if I uncheck the ubuntu-desktop package in Synaptic, it says that is possible that the system could not run withouth that package.
It is safe to uninstall ubuntu-desktop? if not, how can I uninstall GNOME withouth problems?
Thanks in advance.
