I have a IBM computer with 512 MB Ram, it is DDR 400 ram. That is 2 X 256 MB ram sticks.

The computer can take four slots. I also have 1 GB DDR 333 that I can install into the computer.

Is it safe to swap out the 512 MB DDR 400 for 1 GB DDR 333? Can I mix them together?

Thanks...
