Hi,
I upgraded want Xorg to start with optimal resolution which is 1152x768 for my old 17" CRT monitor, but ATI defaults it to 1600x1200 (low refresh rate). I set
Modes "1152x768" in xorg.conf section "Screen" subsection "Display", but it doesn't help. It says something in xorg log that using 1152x768 etc, but it's not working.
I can upload my config(which is default IIRC) and logs, if you need to, just ask.
