Gnome panel not always auto-rising with compiz

Hi. I have a gnome-panel at the right hand side of the screen with auto-hide option and I have compiz enable. if I move the mouse fast enough right to the right end of the screen (i.e., to one of the rightmost pixels), the panel won't auto rise. Moving the mouse just one pixel more to the left or disabling compiz and it works as expected.

Any idea / workaround to solve this issue?
