does anybody know whats going on with the firefox 3.0.10 updates lately and how to fix the problem.

What exactly is the Problem???...

I'm running FF 3.0.10 under Ubuntu 8.10 and I'm having no problems...

the problem if having to kill the process and know it just takes to long to open anything

the problem if having to kill the process and know it just takes to long to open anythingSome pages take several seconds even with a fast broadband link and Firefox "freezes" them while awaiting parts of these pages; I recognize this as normal behavior for MyEBay.dll at eBay.com (http://www.ebay.com/), having witnessed it in 3.0.10 under Microsoft Windows XP SP3 (http://www.windows.com/). That should not be the case with all Web pages, as many pages absent of JScript, Sun Java, Adobe Flash, Microsoft Silverlight, etc. load instantaneously for practical purposes. I had hangs in Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy (and its Good OS derivative, gOS 1.0.1 Painful), but they are no longer an issue for me in 8.04-LTS Hardy. (I'd expect some hanging in 9.1beta1 Kinetic, as it is still in development.)
