install seems to stall

So last night after putting in a 30GB hard drive into my older laptop (PII 266Mhz 192Mb ram) I got as far as picking my time zone and clicking on next.. that's when it stalled but the mouse pointer would still move and the little white ball would still spin but it never moved off that screen for 2 hours.

Hi and welcome, with 192 mb of memory you may have better luck with the alternate cd to install.
