Tabbing

Is there an option in Compiz(or anything really) that allows for tabbing in no Firefox windows? In regular windows?

e.g. A window with a tab with Pigon, a tab with a txt editor, and a tab with firefox

I hope you can understand what I'm asking.

Fluxbox , if my memory serves me correctly, has this feature. It allows you to group windows together with tabs.
