Using 9.04 with KDE4 for the first time. In attempting to use the system monitor applet I've found that I can readjust the size of the applet and it will hold for the current session. Upon restart, the applet resizes itself to the default and compresses the various screens up so that they overlap. The overlap can be fixed by passing the cursor over the option bar when widgets are unlocked, but the applet still needs to be resized on every reboot. Any ideas as to how to make the settings stick or is this a legitimate bug that needs to be passed on to bug control?
