I'm having difficulty setting up the internal tv tuner in my new MSI notebook. From what I can tell, the hardware itself is not even being detected. I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to continue so I'll just explain everything I know, and hopefully one of you lovely people will be able to offer some help :)

The ubuntu wiki entry: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/MSIMegabookGX700

I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 amd64, but tried Mythbuntu 9.04 amd64 and pulled the debug logs. Details as follows: http://mythbuntu.pastebin.com/f758c392a

The driver disc supplied by the manufacturer contains installers for 'PRO-NETS Analog TV tuner', 'PRO-NETS Digital TV tuner', and 'PRO-NETS Hybrid TV tuner'. Unfortunately there's no mention of a version or chipset of the card.

Have attached the output of lspci, lsusb and lsmod. Happy to answer any queries for more information and would appreciate any help on getting this thing running!
