Emptying Trash Bin

I have installed LAMP server and had done some sites (using joomla). On deleting the site, the folders went to Trash Bin. But when I click on Emtpy Trash, some folders do not get deleted. Error shown in Permission denied.

How do I change the permissions.

I think the easiest way to change permissions is to start nautilus as superuser "gksudo nautilus" and then right click on them, chose properties, and finally click permissions tab. make yourself owner and take read/write rights.
