YouTube question

Does anyone know the bitrates of high and low quality YouTube vids? And whether they have stereo sound? I've Googled upon many contradicting answers since YouTube updates often and usually without notice. If it's not stereo can anyone recommend other sites that have streaming music vids in good quality with stereo audio?
