Hi. I am new to Ubuntu and I need some help.:confused:
I have a Dell Optiplex 755 running on windows vista and I want to run ubuntu v8.1 via my flash-drive. I successfully installed the ubuntu on my flash-drive but I can't run it on my computer from start-up. I tried on other computers and they all work. When I try on this system, the screen became blank after I select "persistant mode" on the startup. Is there a problem with this system? What is a common solution to this problem? Help is greatly appreciated.
