Hello,
i just managed to successfully install Ubuntu 9.04 via alternate cd on my pc with a raid 1 configuration. Installation completed succesfully and the bootloader is appearing fine. While Vista is running as expected in dual boot, ubuntu is not: a blinking cursor just sits there and the booting process doesn't go ahead.
No errors, no messages, just nothing. Is there any command i should add before booting to have some debug, at least?

My setup:
Cpu: AMD Phenom II X3 790
Mobo: Sapphire pure crossfire 790gx am3
Video: Ati Radeon 4670

Thank you for your help :)

Uhm, sadly same thing occurs with Karmic Koala Alpha 1 :(

Any hint, anyone? :(

Do you have software raid, fake/hybrid raid or hardware raid?
