I am running 7.10 on my server and I'd like to upgrade since this version is no longer supported. Should I upgrade to 8.04, 8.10 or 9.04? Also, are there any cautions about the upgrade process for the server? I have seen where there have been problems for those running vmlinuz-2.6.22-15-server.

Many thanks. I want to make sure I have my information together before I take the upgrade step.

Since I didn't get any replies and I had researched the topic, I went ahead with the upgrade. I upgraded to 8.04 to get to the latest LTS release. Prior to running the update process, I rebooted into the older vmlinuz-2.26.22-14-server kernel and then proceeded with the normal upgrade process. Everything went smoothly and I am now running under 8.04 with no problems.
