I'm relatively new to the ubuntu/linux world about 8 months). I'm currently running 9.04 ubuntu and would like to change the default file manager to dolphin, from nautilus. I would like this to be system wide such that when I select a folder (e.g pictures) from the places menu on the desktop, dolphin opens and navigates to the pictures folder by default. I have tried kubuntu and I prefer the gnome interface to the kde interface. I've searched the forum and the posted answers don't quite work for me.

I would appreciate anybody's help.

Thanks
