I have installed Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Easy Peasy Edition on my Eee-PC.
Because there is no CD Drive in the Eee-PC, I installed via a USB thumb drive. Installation went great and the OS runs smoothly, but every time I start the computer, I am presented with the install prompt. It is the same prompt I get when tying to install the OS off of a live CD.
It seems as if the OS still thinks that it is running the live CD every time it boots. Is there a way to shut off this install prompt? Or a way to correctly fix the issue?
