I think I'd wait a bit. There's still some issues in 8.10 that aren't fixed yet. Latest and greatest is usually not good for a server environment, especially in production. I'm still running 8.04 on all my prod stuff.

I have not noticed any significant number of grievances. Yet.

Mind you I had to upgrade to 8.10 to allow PHP and the mono-project to live together.

So far Java working fine on the console.

When you click on my page, you are connecting to my Linux machine. So I guess it is a production machine. I use it for development ideas too.
