can't install 9.04 desktop edition

i download yesterday the installer and burn it
when i try to install it to my computer, it stops loading its only about 20% and it stops
can somebody help me,, im a newbie, hehe

Hi and welcome, could you give us some system specs? Have you checked the cd for errors?

sorry if reply late because im now using 8.04 but i want to try 9.04
i already checked the cd and there was no error

Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz
512MB (i dont know what the other kind of ddr buut its not ddr2)
80gb ata disk
CD/DVDW SH-S182M

So you have Hardy 8.04 installed and you want to try 9.04? What is the model of the graphics card? If you have Hardy working then you may want to stick with it if the 9.04 live cd will not boot.
