Is ATI Xpress 200 supported

I would like to know if ATI Xpress 200 card is supported by ATI drivers anymore. When I installed Jaunty and as and when I installed fgrlx driver and restarted , screen went weird on start up. Can somebody tell me if my graphics card is supported. And in case not should I revert to Intrepid instead to use Compiz etc..

as far as I can figure out, AMD has dropped support for that chipset.
