Hi

I installed ubuntu 8.1 on my 1gb pendrive using the 'create a startup disc' . It runs great , except for the problem that there is very little space left on my pen-drive.

I proceed to boot from the pendrive and remove unnecessaary packages like openeoffice/bluetooth. the packages got removed , but there is no increase in free space in the pen drive.. Why so?

Basically help me increase the free space in the pen -drive so that I can add stuff to my usb installation

Thanks
