Hi
I'm sick of the Vista that's on my pc, so I decided to try Ubuntu. Because I've paid for my Vista, I want to try a dual boot.
So what I've already done is:
-Made some space for a new partition for Ubuntu (done with Disc Management in Vista)
-Downloaded the .ISO file for the live-cd, controlled the hash, burned the CD with ISO-recorder, at a minimum burning speed of 4x
Now, when I boot from the cd, everything looks fine: I get a nice menu, I can choose a language and all. But then, when I enter on "Install Ubuntu" or Controll the cd or try Ubuntu from the cd, I only get the message "Loading, please wait...". I hear my disc is running, but after a while my computer does not make much sound anymore. I've tried to wait for two hours (got my lunch in the meantime :P ), but nothing happened, the text kept on my screen. I did hard shutdown, tried again, but didn't work. Does anyone know this problem?
Thank you!
