Hi all.

I am looking for a solution that will allow me to connect my Canon HG21 camcorder and load the HD video that has been taken.

I also need a good video editor that I can use to edit my videos. I have been using the overbloated (but useful) Adobe Premier and Encore, however I'd love to ditch them for a linux solution - please help me. The solution hopefully will be simple to use and enable me to edit not only the video but also any audio, add audio etc. Then when the editing is complete allow me to then burn to DVD.

All helpful suggestions really appreciated.
