View Full Version : [ubuntu] Transparent taskbar on GNOME

Hello everyone,

I'm having some problem trying to get a transparent bar on my ubuntu 9.04, with compiz/emerald, maybe you guys could help me with this.

Looking to the image above you can see that some icons still get the theme background, and it can't get the transparency.

I did some tests and I think that is because the theme I'm actually using. Trying to use some different themes it works very well.

Right click on your panel -> Properties -> "Background" tab -> See if you can fix it by tweaking those settings. :)

Also having this problem. Any way to fix other than changing theme?
