View Full Version : [kubuntu] Omg Woops!

Omg woops. First off I partitioned my external drive wrong as you can see the 40Gb side is where all my files like movies etc were, and the 68Gb part was were my Kubuntu files where but I was driving to shrink that partition and I deleted it by major mistake. Now I can't boot to Kubuntu (obvously since its no longer there) so because of this I want to fix it before I try Kubuntu or Ubuntu again. But I need some help. How do I join that 68Gb part with my 40Gb part? Also wtf is the 3Gb part? (How do I make them all one again???)

You should not use Windows disk management tools on linux partitions.
Get a Parted Magic live CD and boot from that. It is a graphical partition live CD that you can use to easily partition the drive the way you want it:
